From a side project to a global proxy infrastructure
ProxyScrape started in 2018 when our founder Thibeau Maerevoet went looking for free proxies and discovered the available options were scattered, unreliable, and hard to use. He built a tool to collect and verify them, then made it free for anyone who needed it.
As demand grew for proxies that actually stayed up, we incorporated in 2020 and started offering paid services. Today we serve more than 30,000 customers, from solo developers to large data teams, while keeping the free tools that started it all available to everyone.
